PlexiFlex

PlexiFlex is our registered trademark of a unique image presenting system. It is made by face-mounting a print underneath a clear acrylic sheet using optically clear adhesive and back-mounting on a supporting substrate with an easy hanging system attached to it. It displays an image framelessly.

PlexiFlex enhances the image quality visually by reducing light scattering because face-mounting keeps the print perfectly flat and smooth, and therefore increases the sharpness, color saturation, and contrast of the image.

PlexiFlex protects the print from dusts and moisture by permanently sealed the print in two pieces of substrates. The UV inhibitor in the acrylic sheet and the adhesive blocks the harmful UV light from reaching the print. Therefore the longevity of the image is extended.

PlexiFlex is very easy to install thanks to the inset frame in the back. It is ready to hang right out of the box. With the recessive design of the inset frame, once the PlexiFlex is installed, the picture looks like it is floating off the wall.

There are many variations of PlexiFlex. The Plexiglas can be shinny or non-glare; it can be abrasive-resistant. The backing could be on different kind of substrates. For example, it can be Sintra, Dibond, or Acrylic. Both front and back can be at different thickness.

The edges can be polished as shinny and smooth as the front.

The PlexiFlex can also be framed in a shadow box instead of using inset frame. The shadow box adds another layer of protection because the edge is covered by the frame and the surface is recessed in the frame.
