Our Scans
We offer a great price on high-res Fuji Frontier scans when ordered at time of processing. Our scans are equivalent to 6x9 at 300 dpi. Actual size out of our Fuji Frontier scan is 72 dpi at 1800x2700. Most photographers find that these scans print very well up to 8x12 and even 10x15 on our Frontiers. < top >

Printing from Scans
We recommend that you make your reprints from the color-corrected scans that we provide with your order. Our price for reprints made directly from the scans we provide is one-third lower than it is for reprints made from individual negative frames. We can print from flattened TIFF or JPEG files only. We cannot print from PSD files or from files that have unflattened layers.

Reprints can be provided in two ways:

1. Via CD (standard turnaround – 1 week)
If you provide your reprint order to us on a CD, set up your folders thusly:
Name of Order / File Size @ Quantity, etc. See example below:

(folder) 5x7@2
(folder) 8x10@3

In the third entry above, the client wants 2 5x7 copies each of every file in that particular folder. In the second entry above, the client wants 1 5x7 copy each of every file in that fold

2. Via StudioMasterPro (standard turnaround – 1-2 days)
We provide discounted pricing and quicker turnaround for orders submitted via Fuji’s StudioMasterPro software. Simply put your order together on your computer, burn it to disc and provide it to us. Simply set up a “New Product” in the software (using your phone number and client reference as the Job ID), then use the “single print” templates to size your images. You can use multiple sizes within one “product,” or order, e.g., numerous 4x6s, 5x7s, 6x8s, etc. You do not have to break them out by size. Once you “pack” your order, simply burn it onto disc and give it to us (via mail, walk-in or FTP).  For more information, please see the StudioMasterPro section of our web site.

As with all scans, you should use the healing tool in Photoshop to eliminate any dust specks before using the scans to make prints. We have a $5 setup charge for each CD provided, so it’s best to put multiple orders – each separated into folders – on one disc. If you have prints that are odd sizes (e.g., 10x7, 5x8, etc.), use Photoshop to put them onto the next standard size canvas. A 10x7 should be provided to use as an 8x10 file. A 5x8 would be provided to us as a 6x8 file. The prints can then be trimmed. < top >

Album Design Services
PC Colour Lab has designed hundreds of templates for use with Fuji StudioMasterPro. But we can also do custom album designs for busy wedding photographers. We can design any album style from digital files, hi-res film scans or negatives. Our design services are priced per page, and include the design and the print. A two-up 10x15 page (design and print) would be $18. A 36-side 10x15 album would be approximately $648 (design and prints).

Retouching
We recognize that busy wedding photographers don’t always have time to do retouching for their album prints or enlargements. That’s why we now offer retouching services. Most retouching services are $5 per image. Complicated retouching is $10-15 per image. Please call for a quote, or drop by with your image(s). < top >


Turnaround
Our standard turnaround for a wedding job is seven business days. During busy season, this turnaround may increase to 10 days. During the slow season, turnaround may be five days. Please call us to ask what the expected turnaround time will be before making client commitments. < top >
